I get asked this question a lot. I don’t mean it as a disparagement, but next to “where do you get your ideas from?” it’s probably the question I get asked most frequently in interviews. To be honest, I’m not sure why. Why would anyone care which characters I like or don’t like? Not only that, my relationship with the characters is pretty complicated… I’m not certain it’s all that fair to try and sum up my feelings on a character in “like” or “dislike”. Chances are I feel both ways. Even if they’re characters I wrote, and thus have an incredible attachment towards, there are times when I still hate them just a little bit. After all, only on the Internet does everything exist only in absolute terms.
